Using page numbers and showing "0 of 0 out of 0 pages" results using PHP

I'm developing a page that needs to use both page numbers (using clickable links for these) and dropdowns containing 10, 25, 50 and 100, depending on how many results are to be displayed per page.

The "per page" function is working fine.

However I now need to do the page numbers, but ain't have a clue how to go about doing this. In addition I also need to be able to show results like "1 to 25 of 100 results", which needs to generate after changing either the page number or results per page.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks in advance.

have a look at question http:Q_22511146.html
i would do something like this:
select count(*) from table where $conditions;
once you have the total amount of results, $pages = $totalResults/$resultsPerPage, and finally, for displaying each page, just perform your query with limit $pageNumber, $resultsPerPage
