restore sbs 2003
after restoring my sbs2003 server per Microsofts procedure i get "windows could not start becuase the following file is missing or corrupt \winnt\system32\config\sys tem
did you restore it to the same hardware?

Hello, yes I have the same hardware. I had a Raid5 problem but that is now fixed.
I tried a SBS restore using NTBackup but it did not work. I later found out that you have to install same service packs as before. I am trying another restore now that I have followed the new directions. I have about 60GB to go! I hope it works this time.

yes, you need to be on the exact same service pack levels when you do the restore.
