32bit software performance on 64bit Windows 2003 (Dual Xeon)

Hi all,

Would I get better performance running 32bit apps on 32bit Windows 2003, or 64bit Windows 2003?

I am running dual Xeon 5420 processors.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't think so. Would be the same or maybe a little better sense the OS has better mem handling.

I would prefer x64 because it doesn't have the kernel limitations that x86 has.  If your software will run,  do x64.
