A user cannot send to 2 specific internal users but sends and receives to/from all others

We just rebuilt the CEO's laptop and put it on the domain - he had been using it off the domain AND using an outside email account (Earthlink). He's not using his corporate email account and all is well except that he cannot send to his admin or one of my colleages. He keeps getting a bounceback saying his account is too large. (We imported his Earthlink mail and his mailbox is now over 2GB).  I am offsite and can't remote in, but my colleage removed the size limit restrictions on his account for the time being (it's usually 1 GB) but still the problems continues.  What could it be?

The size limit increase will take some time to be applied, just be patient.

Ahhhh...patience, that thing that I possess so little of.  :-)  I'd never seen quite the same thing before and didn't realize it would not be instant.  I'll wait a bit as you suggest.

mail box size limits can applied on both the mail store and user account.check both of them.

It should apply relativly quickly. Wait a bit yes, but for me that has meant about 5-15 minutes. Don't know what the MS actual time is.

It isn't SBS is it?

By the way, did you check those two users to make sure that their mailbox is not full?

I did check the mailboxes on those people and they are fine.  Waiting now for the CEO to get here to see if the problem still exists.

Sorry for the delay.  I think it may have been an issue with setup on those people's spam filter software. That seemed to be the only variable from others.
