I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is simple. Just open the SlideShowText.as file I sent you. All the code is there.

I put some comments inside the .as file for you to understand the flow.

Also , where you see Document Class , you can click the Pencil right next to it. Clicking will open the document class SlideShowText.as

Hi,
That's the issue, if I click the pencil I get the error I mentioned. I also don't see an .as file named SlideShowText.as in the zip. Is it embedded in the fla???

Thanks

but when you run the FLA does it work? If not maybe  did not send you the .as? Sorry, here it goes again:

don't forget to change the extension from .txt to .as. And do not change the name of the file it must be exactly SlideShowText.as

Put this file in the same folder of the fla. And I'm sorry if i forgot to send you the class. My mistake.
SlideShowText.as.txt

I also found all of your advice extremely helpful (though I can't tell you how much time I spent looking for that missing .AS file before you realized you hadn't sent it! :) and appreciate the enormous time you put into answering this question for 894359 and the rest of us who had virtually the identical question.
