changing

                fileStream.Write(dataByte, 0, dataByte.Length)
to
                fileStream.Write(dataByte, 0, thisRead)

will do the trick

It works a treat man ty, as promised increased to 500.
Ty.  Maybe u can help me with some minor problem i am having also with the same thing,  when i close the client part from the X button it closes the form but it stays loaded in the task manager, so i have to kill it there before running again.  should i just put something in the form unload event to close it?
