Unable to get local SMTP

Hello

Yesterday I finished the setup of our new Exchange 2007 server - I redirected traffic form our Exchange 2003 and everything is working fine.  My problem is - any internal software that sends local SMTP mail - for example Symantec Backup Exec - I'm not able to recieve mail from these applicaitons.  Mail if flowing externally and we are able to send mail internally - so everything is working execpt the above.  The only special configuration I did on the Exchange server was to only allow incoming mail from our remote spam  server.  Thanks for helping.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I had limited my recieve connector to just my external spam filter - once I went back and added the local server ip address, everything worked.
Thanks
