New m9040n HP machine but my Panasonic HDTV display has a black frame around it

I just bought this PC but I am unable to get the black frame off my HDTV which i am using as the monitor. It has a NVidia 8400GS card iin it. There is an option in the nvidia control panel that says "resize my desktop" which appears to be the right solution for my issue but when I push it brings up a screen with a big arrow on it and I'm not sure what to do with it. The screen stays there until I press esc. Any help?

I could tell that the screen that I was looking at when I hit the "resize my desktop" button was being cut off in a major way. By seeing some screen shots on the internet I could tell there was suppose to be two sliders on the screen. I just hit tab once or twice and tried hitting the arrow keys. I could then move the big white arrow into the top corner of my screen. Then I hit tab twice more and hit "enter" and it worked.

Very difficult but it works

You need to set your computer screen resolution to:

1920x1080 to get full HDTV

I believe this will fill in all the margins if your computer supports this resolution

No... that doesn't work.. the resolution is already set to that

No matter the resoltuion there is a black frame around the screen
