Thanks guys. Just run Exctrlst.exe and disabled ASP.NET counters and message is gone.. Not sure if gets to the bottom of the problem but gets rid of the message!<br />

I've got a windows 2000 server that has started generating error 1008 in the application event log out of nowhere. I can't think of any changes recently that could of caused it. We recently had to reinstall backupexec, but other than that..<br />

Hi,
