Getting Error Message Access Denied (Policy_Denied)

Getting Error Message Access Denied (Policy_Denied) Your system policy has denied access to the requested url. I am going to google.com which is my home page. Everything was working fine using satellite internet and then while I was travelling at a hotel I started getting this message. Now that I am a different office that uses cable internet I am still getting the problem. I can connect to a vpn and I am getting email. I just can't get to the internet. Any ideas how to fix this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello thetransiet,

Are you using Windows XP or Vista?

Try opening the websites in Firefox
http://www.getfirefox.com

Check your proxy setting in IE.  Uncheck automatically detect settings.

Hope this helps!
