When trying to install SP2 on SBS2003 I get "The version of windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install"

I get "The version of windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install" when trying to install SP2 on a SBS2003 and when I try to install other "modern" softwares on the server I get "This setup does not support installing on this operating system.".

Have any of you come across this before?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SBS has a certain way of installing the previous updates (ie SP1).  do you know if this proceedure was followed?

I will link it here so you can see it for yourself..
