PCAMPR5 NDIS and PC freezing

Hi

My PC keeps freezing without warning.  I've checked the Event Viewer and found the following:

The PCAMPR5 NDIS Protocol Driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

I'm using XP home service pack2.  Its connected to the Internet via a wireless adapter

All help gratefully received

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PCAMPR5 (or similar)
Set the Start value to 4. Restart - it shouldn;t cause the problem again.

Check out your LAN connection properties - "The connection uses the following items"
Make sure the PCAMPR5 entry isn't selected in there...
