Extending AD Schema

When attempting to extend the AD schema for SCCM 2007 using the ExtADsch script the log produces the following errors

<02-01-2008 11:40:36> Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-Site-Boundaries.  Error code = 8206.
<02-01-2008 11:41:08> Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-Roaming-Boundaries.  Error code = 8206.
<02-01-2008 11:41:39> Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-Default-MP.  Error code = 8206.
<02-01-2008 11:42:10> Failed to create attribute cn=mS-SMS-Device-Management-Point.  Error code = 8206.
<02-01-2008 11:42:41> Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-MP-Name.  Error code = 8206.
<02-01-2008 11:43:12> Failed to create attribute cn=MS-SMS-MP-Address.  Error code = 8206.

Any ideas? Im logged on as an enterprise admin

Is the account you are using a member of the "Schema Admins" group?

I have done a bit of research, most people are reporting this issue when there are DCs on the network which are turned off, is this the case in your environment?

Can you check the schema master and ensure that there are not DS event log errors?

Ok, can you confirm there are no repl issues, can you issue the following command:

repadmin /replsummary /bysrc /bydest /sort:error

Repadmin is in the support tools, these can be download from microsoft.com
