DFS Test environment

Hi

I have a Vmware ESX server at home, and was thinking about learning about DFS by installing various guest servers on there to run.

Can someone tell me what the basics are that I need (i.e. what sort of servers; DC, File server etc), and have any handy documents? I have the MS ones, but anymore would be appreciated!

If you have the ability to use 2003 Server R2 I would highly recommend it as the DFS in R2 is MUCH better. Here's a link to one article (of a 4 part series) on the advantages and usage of DFS with R2:
