"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Remember that in the RDC client, there is an option to under the 'Experience' tab to allow themes, desktop composition -- but it relies on the 'Connection speed' for performance for what will take effect, etc.

I already tried that before posting it here.It doesn't work. I got the link from MS. I guess, Windows 2003 servers don't use Active Desktop.Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

Server 2003 as well as SBS 2003 don't use Active Desktop directly.

Under Terminal Services, however, it can be set & unset.

Under terminal services Active Desktop  is enabled by default on server 2003. If you look my earlier comment; I have found Microsoft article and tried it but no luck. I also double checked the thread you mentioned above, no luck.
