I am having issues with a Gateway Tablet PC CX200X, Model No: TA1; Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.

*** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000018, 0x00000002, 0x000000000, 0xF813125D)

***     iaStor.sys Address F813125D base at F8122000, DateStamp 422f3bcc

I receive this error when trying to access any mode of Windows Tablet PC Edition including when attempting to accessing the recovery partition provided by Gateway.   I have no restore cds.

Is there a procedure to fix this issue without delaying further by calling Gateway for new restore cds?

Thank you much in advance.

That file is for the Intel Storage driver. Aparently there is a new driver out to fix this issue, but you would need to boot the system to update the driver. The only possible solution I have found is this:

1. Change the SATA Operation setting from RAID Autodetect / AHCI to RAID Autodetect / ATA in System Setup.
2. Download and install the Intel® Matrix Storage Driver. Filename R130119.EXE and install
3. Change the SATA Operation setting to RAID Autodetect / AHCI in System Setup.

Here is a link to the new driver.*+2003+Standard+Edition&lang=eng&strOSs=94&submit=Go%21
