For testing purposes, we need to install MAC O/S on top of W2K in a virtualised environment.  Can anyone advise which vitualisation sortware to try?

There is no way to run MacOS inside virtual machine. Apple lisences does not allow that. There have been rumors that upcoming versions of Parallels Desktop and VMWare Fusion allows running MacOS on top of Mac computer.

Parallels Desktop and VMWare Fusion costs about 100$. Trial versions are available. Those run on Mac computers and You cannot run MacOS on top of them yet.
MacOS doesn't run on VMWare Server.

Install Windows onto the Virtual PC.
Use FlyakiteOSX - http://osx.portraitofakite.com

Correct, but what i said was if you use Virtual PC because you want to keep your current OS, install XP because you cant install OSX and then install this program that is probably as close to a mac as you can get on a PC.

FlyakiteOSX installs as a program and changes your system files etc to make it almost the same as a mac... I used it and it was pretty awesome.

Thanks every one.  Have spread the points for this one.
As far as I can see there is not clearcut solution for our needs.    Will be pressing for budget release to get machine instead now.
