Convert basic disk to dynamic disk

We have a server at a remote office that needs to be converted from basic to dynamic disk.  We need to expand the raid-5 array.  This has been done in HP's ACU and in windows we have an unallocated piece of disk that needs to be added to the second logical disk.

The OS and the data volumes reside on the same logical volume with 2 logical disks.  I understand how to convert to dynamic and extend the logical disk, etc.  I've never converted a basic logical volume to dynamic that holds 2 logical disks.  Is this supported?  This server is in a remote office with no remote management capabilities.  If anyone has had problems with this, please let me know.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
