Removing uninstalling Symantec System Center

We recently went to Trend Micro SMB for antivirus controls.  When removing the Symantec System Center from the add remove programs off the server it came back with errors saying it couldn't be removed.  Shortly after the server started acting funny, the file shares weren't available and the server was not working correctly.  An error popped up stating No Disk Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75a851 d8 8bb7frf50c 75a851 d8 75a851d8

I disabled the Symantec services and rebooted the server.  The server is also our exchange server and a domain controller.  After the reboot the server started working as normal.

Does anyone know of a way to remove the Symantec System Center fully and clean?
It seems like all to most Symantec products have trouble removing in full without errors.

Thank you!
