Simple VB6 question about publishing an application

ok I know this seems simple but it's keeping me at perplexed for a while now. I was trained in on Visual Studio's 05, and I am now upgradeing a program written VB6.0 using Visual Studios 6.I am upgrading the program for the first time and I'm perrty sure I have the code right but I haven't figured out how to publish the program to make the changes that I made in the vbp appear when it is opened from the exe.and as a side note we are using source safe, don't know if that is relavant. Any info I can get would be appretiated, Thanks

I'm not sure If I understand your question

I guess you only need to make the executable
This can be done from the menu in VB6
File and choose make ....exe  (on the point you should see the name of your project.)
This way your are making a executable and the changes made in the vbp will in the exe
