How can I use Backup exec to back up from stand alone computer

I trying to setup a backup job for a standalone computer. The symantec backup exec is running from a member server, I find the stand alone computer in "Windows Computers". While creating the backup job, I provided the account this job run under (Standalone Local Adminstrator - machine name\user Id). It fail to authenticate, I am sure that the user id and password provided is correct and the user id is local admin on that stand alone box
Any thoughts on this failure..

Thanks

Kutyi is right, you can run backup exec and see all computers in your domain but are required to have a remote agent if you want to back it up (the remote agent will need to be purchased)
