The Blue Screen Blues: ati2davg

A bit more frequently then I'd like lately, I get the blue screen (is anyone suppose to understand what all that means?) ... with the only thing recognizable:  ati2davg.

This has something to do with the video card, and it seems to happen everytime I exit World of Warcraft (oops ... I guess you caught me!  I'm a gamer).

What to do?

Thats part of the ATI driver software...

Uninstall teh adapter in teh device manager, and reboot. Stop the reinstallation on next login, and make sure you have the latest drivers for your card.

If it is an OEM card (from Dell, HP etc, go to thier website and get it). If it was a retail package go to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html, and get the latest one for the card.

Instal;l it, and then once it is done, reboot, and retest....
it can be necessary in device manager, to click on view>show hidden devices, and uninstall all video cards, before installing again
