POP3 Global Account does not distribute to users

SBS 2003 R2, Exchange SP2.
Have a client that was using SMTP for email but because of an ISP line issue lost internet access.
A telco Co (IPrimus) just rerouted the phone line to one of their new routers and the clients ISP was disconnected. So I changed MX to route all their emails to my own SMTP server (that worked fine) and decided to use a Global POP3 Account to download all those emails to the clients server. Logs from both ends tell me emails have been downloaded and have arrived at their destination. Logging set to Max. However nothing gets to the end users mailboxes. The admin mailbox set up to receive non deliverable emails is working fine. (If I send an email to a non user in that domain the email gets delivered to the admin mail box.)
I can search for the missing emails and find them but not open them or find out where they are.
Ended up setting up individual email accounts using POP on the outlook clients as an extra account and that works fine. I have however lost 3 days of mail that got downloaded but can't be found??
This is not a major issue because the ISP will have resolved their mistake in the next few days but I'd like to know if anyone knows how to get a Global Account to distribute email? What am I doing wrong.

This should work fine.
If the global account is collecting all emails for the users, as long as the headers have the correct information it should be passed on to the Users Mailboxes.

Have you used Exchange System Manager Message Tracking tools to find out where an email has gone to?

I know this should work. Have used it heaps of times.
Headers have been TRIPLE checked.
Yes I can search for the messages and find them, but can't open them or see where they are.
They are in the server but I don't know where to find them or redeliver them?

Please check these folders:

C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\

Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

Will do tomorrow. Can't rdp because ISP took permanent IP away.
Just got a non delivery report back from a trial message I send:
Seems the email went to ms3popconnector.name@doamain.com.au as opposed to just name@domain.com.au. Is that normal. Does pop3 automatically add a ms3popconnector prefix?

Indeed it does, when collecting the emails via POP3 it adds that header information.

Is that why it does not go to the end user? When distribution happens from global account and in the to: box you have that prefix.name will it go to the correct user?
In the global account settings for domain should I use domain.local or domain.com.au?

Pop3 global still not working. But ISP fixed connection and client is back using SMTP. Thanks for your help.
