Duplicate lines appear in MS word when scrolling with mouse wheel.

Word 2003, MS Mouse, Vista Business and XP home.  Sometimes, when I scroll up with my mouse wheel in a word doc, the lines repeat on the screen.  I've seen another post for this but there was no solution.  Can this be fixed?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

If you use page up or down when this occurs, I assume the duplicated lines go away? If so, this is more than likely a graphics drivers problem. Try looking for some updated drivers for your card.

Cheers,

Lee

Try reducing the graphics acceleration (if your card allows it), that normally does the trick. Right click on the desktop, select personalise, display settings, advanced settings, troubleshoot and reduce the accelleration setting. Push it all the way down, and test, then experiment to get the best setting you can without the problem re-occuring.
