Cannot get network adapter and usb controller to work

I had to do a fresh install on a custom computer the mother board is an msi microstar N1996 MS-7061 V.1.0

I installed the muslimedia driver
I installed the video driver.

My network adapter is not showing the device manager but the light is amber and green when I have the cble pluged in.

I cannot use any usb devices. It is not picking them up

Have you installed chipset driver?

If your talking about the VIA Chipset 4in1 drivers, NO I did not.

I downloaded the individual ones from here:

You must install that first, and then check in device manager see if any error on devices.

I just did and still got the same problem. No network adapter and no usb support? I don't know the next step

Then, I would reset bios first, then check in bios see if usb enabled.

In device manager, delete the network adapter and then let windows redetects and reinstall drivers.

Try that see if it help.

no sorry I thought you forgot about me.. It is weird. There is no set to default settings or anything like that option in the Bios. In device manager there is no Network Adapter present and also no icon. It seems that the motherboard does not recognizes it.
