Simulate environment tab "start program" functionality on local profile

I want to set up an XP box as an internet only station.

I would like it if when the user logs in, IE pops up with it's tabbed homepages, and if IE is closed, the profile logs off.

This is possible using the environment tab in Active Directory. Is there another way using a script, or hidden environment variables in the user's profile?

Thanks in advance.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Actually the envirnment tab you mention in Active Directory only applies to Terminal Services.
Best you can do with a console login is use the "Run only allowed Windows applications" in gpedit.

Accurate Response. While I am able to understand this, a less experienced admin might need some hand holding through the local security policy editor.
