Microsoft Access - drop down menu's empty

I am using MS Office with Access 2003 and the drop down menu's look blank, but I can actually scroll down each field and choose an entry, but it's a mystery which one I'm on.

Not sure if it's related, but It happened around the time I installed a new Antivirus, but I've since uninstalled and it continues.

Can anyone help?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Look at the code in your form module, and make sure you are not  setting any of the fields in your droplist to visible = False. Also look at the visible property of those controls on their property sheet. Also check the background and foreground color properties of the dropbox  and controls therein.

Thank you for these.

It's at SP3

Also, it's a shared Access DB and everyone else in the office can see the drop down items. It's just this one computer. Other ideas?

Make sure the one machine is running off the network copy of the application, and is not running from a local copy of the application  on his/her PC.

Also, look at the settings for the columns and column width properties for the dropdown box.
The number of columns visible in the combo box dropdown list is controlled by a combination of:
the .Columns property of the combo box
the width property for each column.
Columns with a width value of zero, are present and available in code, but are not visible to the user.
