Dell Laser MFP 1815dn - How to make double-sided printing by default?

Does anyone know how to make this laser printer do double-sided (duplex) by default?

I was not able to find this online and I do not have the manual.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes. Right-click the printer and select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab, then on the Printing Defaults button. Set it to duplex and click OK. Now click the General tab, the the Printing Preferences button, and set that to duplex as well.

If this printer is connected via a server, this must be done on the server.

I followed this answer but it didn't work for me.

I clicked on the Printing Defaults... button as suggested but could not see anywhere to choose Duplex as a default option.  I've found sketchy mention of this elsewhere on the net
