How do I change the Host name of a Xerox Phaser 860dp...

Here;s my scenario and why, if possible, I would like to change the printer's host name. My workplace is using a xerox phaser860dp in a lab enviornment.  I let the DHCP server assign the printer an ip address and then setup a reservation.  However, the reservation name (even after I assigned it a descriptive name) reverted to some non-descript name (which would be akin to miscellaneous unless you went into the reservation's properties and checked out the description.)  At this point the reservation was active.  However, after I changed the reservation name back to a more descriptive name, the reservation went inactive.  And this non-descript name is the host name for the printer per the printer config info.  I didn't see a way via the printer's control panel or driver to change this name.  Do I have to reinstall the printer or am I missing something.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Most Phaser products have a web page interface.  Go to Internet Explorer and the http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (your printers IP address) and that should load a website for the printer.  In there under the network settings, most likely, is the host name.
