printing is incredibly slow.

I have a form with about 5 tables that are 2 or 3 columns wide by 5 columns deep the form has about 25 or 30 fields and it has a data entry subform with about 15 fields or so.  it takes up to 3 minutes sometimes to print.  I can repeat this even on my large HP laserjet 4050 with tons of memory.

is there a way to greyscale your forms when they print? or simply, how can i get these forms to print faster?

Have you tried reinstalling the printer driver?

Yes, and to no avail.  i have three other computers and printers that have this error.  the printing is slow on all the printers.

The form runs in a frame

I would consiider creating a print-only version of the form that would launch into a separate window. You might also consider notes2paper which is designed to facilitate Notes pritning, where Notes's own printing engine more or less sucks.

I Think I fixed the problem.  I ended up setting "" values for the remaining parameters in the FilePrint commmand.  This helped tremendously. Thanks to everyone's help.

Since both of your suggestions were equally very helpful in my troubleshooting, I'm going to split the points between you.
