Change Exchange OWA default calendar view

Is there a way to change the default calendar view in OWA for public calendars?

By default a calendar in my public folder comes up as the day view but i always want to see the monthly view. Is there a setting/registry entry/change of code on the page that will show monthly view as the default instead of day? i dont' care if this effects all public calendars.

i've checked the owaadmin page (this tool covers all the changes possible in the registry for OWA), exchange system manager, the owa client, there is no way to change the default view

i dont think it would be a registry change. I'm talking about changing the code on the actual pages code. I've tried exploring the pages but i'm not sure what to change.

this is the exchange server zone.  i'd post a question about the code in a programming zone.

personally i wouldn't be monkeying with the code for something like that.  might mess up your OWA.  just my opinion

I have a related question.  Even if there isn't a way to set the default view, if there a way to create the URL so that the calendar would automatically open in the desired view?

Nevermind... I found it:

http://servername/public/Public%20Calendar/?cmd=contents&view=monthly

Perhaps this would work for the OP?
