sql server 2005 revoke guest account on master

It doesn't allow me to revoke guest account on master.  Why is that?

This is what I use to attempt to do this:

use master
go
revoke connect from guest
go

I get this error:
Msg 15182, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot disable access to the guest user in master or tempdb.

as the error message indicates, you cannot do that.

Could have used some more explanation as to why this can't be done on the master db.

sorry, but I am not "Microsoft". I can only "guess" why, ie that every login must have access to the master database, as that one stores the login information so you can actually fully connect...
