JBOSS vs TOMCAT/IPLANET

Hi
If I use JBOSS as my app server, do I need to use tomcat or iplanet as web server. Doesnt JBOSS provides all functionalities.
Which is better for web server (if it is needed) tomcat or iplanet61
Thank you so much in advance:

I meant to say that it is an application that is embedded in an included webserver. No added webserver required.

This is great. So the web server that is embedded, its JBOSS own version.

I dont know why in the meeting today the brand wanted tomcat, as you said its just an applet container
So if I need to install JBOSS app server, do I need to install JBOSS web server separately or both comes in the same package.
both comes together
That's what I said from the first. JBOSS is a dessert topping AND a floor wax!
Of course you could always switch to Glassfish!
Great and fast responses. Thank you so much

what is applet container? Tomcat is just a webserver!
Tomcat is just a web-container. JBOSS uses tomcat to provide web-container
functionalities.

Yes It does.

Tomcat. Its very lightweight
Ajay Thank you so much for further comments on this question. This makes it more clear. I was confused about Tomcat, I have a web server iplanet61 on 2 clusters, but i was looking for app server that has embedded web server, so if it comes with tomcat, that is a much better solution. I can also use JBOSS (send/receive response/request) to the web cluster running iplanet, right?
Thanks again for further clarification, appreciate it very much:)
