How to disable Trend Micro virus scan in Microsoft Office 2007?

Using Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2008 and Microsoft Office 2007. How do I disable the virus scanner as I can not open any files because the virus scanner stops it. I have search for macro virus with the virus scanner, spybot and adaware in safe mode but can't find it.

Basically I would like to open my files.

Open Trend Micro and turn of the scan all documents on open.  I haven't used Trend Micro for awhile but the command should be similar.
basically you can turn off the scanning of specific file types or better....folders.  That way your own files will not be rescanned unless you ask it to.

I found out what the problem was - thanks for your help
My old Norton Anti virus was still installed somehow even after uninstalling it so I went and deleted that folder. This removed the problem and I was able to open the file all the time.
