Citrix Connection Progress Hangs

We are currently having an issue with Citrix Program Neighborhood 10.150 connecting from specifically an HP 2510p Laptop to the server. Three quaters of the way through the connection process it will hang from anywhere between 1 and 5 minutes before it eventually connects. This is specific to this particualr model laptop because we've tried it on other laptops and we've had no problem. We've updated the BIOS to the latest version, all Windows Updates are current, and all hardware drivers are current. We've tried different versions of Citrix as well, and each time we've had the same delayed connection. Some other points to make note of: From within the network, using the internal IP address it works fine. From within the network the outside server IP address hangs, same as with when trying to connect from outside the network.

I've had similar long connection times with the latest client version with another HP (nc6000).. we switched to version 9.15 which fixed this problem. We had your same issues (connecting from inside it works fine etc etc)

The latest client has additional ports which need to be opened at the firewall.  We sniffed for the port which was being blocked, and created a custom rule for it.  Now the clients open quickly.
