Try disabling shadow copies on the drives, then stop the VSS service. &nbsp;Then set the VSS service to automatic instead of manual and restart it. &nbsp;Finally re-enable shadow copies on the drives.

How do i disable shadow copies on the drives? &nbsp;I know how to set the service to automatic instead of manual, and i believe manual is what it is set to now. I will have to double check that.<br />

Volume Shadow Service Problems

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter.
