I have a dynamic generated checkboxlist that looses its values after PoastBack. I'm also using a MasterPage

I have been reading about the controls life cycle, dynamic controls and poastbacks. But I still can't make it work.
I have the dynamic controls generation @ OnInit, and any data previously save @ the Load event. My texboxes hold the user's value OK after clicking on my button, and I can manipulate the data entered, but all the values on the Items for the CheckBoxLists are unselected.
I've tried manually calling the TrackViewState() and the LoadViewState()... but I'm not even sure on how or when am I supposed to call them.
Any help would be appreciated

when you create a control dynamically, you'll have to recreate after the postback.
