Running under IIS6 on a Windows 2003 server, we're getting a 403 access denied error message trying to obtain the WSDL from the SOAP executable. An example URL is <a href="http://www.myserver.com/SoapService.exe/WSDL" rel="ugc">http://www.myserver.com/SoapService.exe/WSDL</a>. We can retrieve other documents such as html pages from the same folder, but we can't run the SOAP executable. The app on IIS 6 is setup to allow both scripts and executables. The exact same code runs fine on another IIS6/Win2003 server. Any ideas where to start looking? Thanks.

Access denied error message trying to obtain WSDL document

IIS is Internet Information Services, the web server included with Windows Server operating systems. All current versions are built on a modular architecture; modules can be added or removed individually so that those required for specific functionality are installed.
