"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to add more .NDF files to the PRIMARY filegroup.

As you know i am a beginner for dicom conquest, how would I go about that and what .ndf files would I have to add?

Usually, it would be a DBA's job.  Login to SQL Server and find your database in the Object Explorer. In the database properties tab, choose files and add a new one.

Your database has run out of disk space.  You need to add more.  When you add another file, the  .ndf file gets created.
