Exchange Event ID concern.

Hi All,

Ive discovered the following event id in the event log which is causing me some concern. Can anyone assist in troubleshooting this?

Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      MSExchangeSA
Event Category:      RFR Interface
Event ID:      9143
Date:            08/02/2008
Time:            09:31:50
User:            N/A
Computer:      NameNT1
Referral Interface cannot contact any Global Catalog that supports the NSPI Service. Clients making RFR requests will fail to connect until a Global Catalog becomes available again. After a Domain Controller is promoted to a Global Catalog, it must be rebooted to support MAPI Clients.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

According to Microsoft:

1. Make sure that at least one global catalog server is available for the Exchange server to communicate with.

2. If a domain controller has recently been promoted to be a global catalog, you will need to restart that computer for the Exchange server to use it.

We have already tried this and furthermore, the server which is logging this event is also the Global Catalogue Server.
