how to stop reverse DNS lookup for the vsftpd in linux

Dear Sir/Madam:

Have redhat enterprise linux working as ftp server (vsftpd) please tell me how to disable reverse dns lookups for the ftp login , how to do this in vsftpd.conf

# Do not perform ident nor DNS lookups
IdentLookups off
UseReverseDNS off

My bad- information claimed vsftpd, but was for proftp.  

vsftpd does not have this in a config file-   I did find a more relevant discussion here, which leads to PAM and the vsftpd source code.....
