I can't assign 2 different pop accounts to there datafiles
I have created 2 datafiles for 2 outlook pop accts (with different e-mail addresses). If I switch email_1 to datafile_1 then email_2 switches to datafile_1.
The reverse applies as well If I switch email_2 to datafile_2 then email_1 switches to datafile_2.
I want to get data_1 with email_1 and data_2 with email_2
Thanks, JOe K.

Not sure if you can do this the way you want.
Meaning, associating a specific account with a specific local PST file.
If using POP3 , would look into the free Thunderbird, which I think has a better account management.
I hope this helps !

Sorry about the lack of clarity,
"Are you saying you have 2 pop accounts, we will call them pop1 and pop2
and two different psts we will call them pst1 and pst2.
Now when you try and connect pop1 to pst 1 and pop 2 to pst 2 it fails?"
It does not fail.
if I associate pop1 with pst1 then pop2 gets associated with pst1 as well.
if I associate pop2 with pst2 then pop1 gets associated with pst2.
So the problem is I can't associate pop1 with pst1 and pop2 with pst2 concurrently.
Does Thunderbird support MAPI? (a hotmail acct)
thanks, JOe K.

That rule would be nice
My rule reads as follows:
Apply this rule after mail arrives through the XXXXXXXXXX account and move to the yahoo folder.
Hope this helps.
