I thought that too, but when you go into the file selection for a job you see &quot;Microsoft SQL Server - &quot;TEST&quot; and I am able to change specific settings for Microsoft SQL. &nbsp;There is a backup exec remote agent installed on the server, but I thought that is for backing up regular files. &nbsp;

I know this is an easy question...How can I tell if the Backup exec SQL agent is installed on a sql server? &nbsp;I have checked to see they have a license which they do, but checked add/remove programs on ther server and did not see the sql agent installed. &nbsp;<br />

How to tell if you Have backupexec SQL Agent installed

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud).
