We have a large public folders setup in my company. Someone deleted a folder that was in the public folders area. I used PFDAdamin. I enabled the folders to accept email. Now when I try to send email to the folders I get the following error.

The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to.  Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.

Am I missing something this is the first time I have worked with public folders like this so it is quite possible I missed something.

Someone deleted a folder in public folders and you tried to recreate it?

If you right click on the public folder in ESM can you see an email address assigned to it?

Right click on the folder, mail disable it, then right click on it and mail enable it again.  Wait to see if it picks up an email address, then change it if you need to.
