I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It depends upon how your service works.

If it loads all the XML files when the service is first created and from then on runs on the files in memory, then you will need to restart this service.

Can you give more details on what the service does and how it operates?

Thanks. I wasn't expecting that answer to be accepted. Depending upon the service, if it can load the templates upfront and then check to see if they have been altered on each request (or if that is too high, once an hour or once every 100 requests), then the new ones can be loaded.
