Do you have any problems sending from users on the 2003 server to users on the 2007 server?<br />

As you are going to have to do it at some point anyway (presumably) have you tried pointing the unix script at the 007 server as the SMTP server?

I have begun moving mailboxes from E2K3 to E2K7SP1. So some of my DL's have users on E2K3, and users on E2K7SP1. In the case where a unix script is hardcoded to send an email to an SMTP address which belongs to a distribution group, pointing to the IP address of thhe E2K3 mail server, only the members of the list that have mailboxes on the E2K3 server receive an email. If I send an email to the list fromm Outlook, all the users on the list get the email. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. <br />
