How to stop Acrobat Pro from hijacking windows after printing PDF

Whenever I print a PDF document using Adobe PDF from a particular application, Adobe Acrobat Pro opens a new window with the newly created PDF.  If I immediately return to my application window, Acrobat immediately brings me back to its program window.  The same type of problem occurs when I close Acrobat right after it opens a window with the new PDF document -- after closing Acrobat, the program automatically starts itself back up again and opens a window with the newly created PDF document.  How can I stop Acrobat from hijacking my active window in this manner?

you can disable the view document option after creating PDFs

Two places depending where you print/convert from:

In Printers/Faxes => Adobe PDF printer, right click select Printing Preference, untick 'View PDF results'.
In Acrobat Distiller => File|Preferences and de-select similar option.

That was easy.  Thanks.  It's funny because I posted this exact same question around 2 years ago and no one ever answered it.
