Hi All,

We have a page with multiple SWfs. In IE 6 one of the SWFs shows up when you empty cache but disappears when you refresh the page. It happens consistently with the same SWF.

We are using the latest SWFObject 1.5 and are making javascript calls like ExternalInterface from the SWF.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

My guess is that you are overwriting one DIV with another when doing the SWFObject call...

What's the URL where we can see it???

Hi CyanBlue,

We are not overwriting any divs. Each div has it own unique ID.

The URL is behind a firewall so won't be able to show right away.

Maybe you could create a demo file that shows the same problem???  I honestly do not have a way to foresee what might be troubling your page...  :(

Hi CyanBlue,

Thanks for pondering. So after a lot of back and forth, the solution was a really easy one.

Since we were using SWFobject for all the embedded flash, we replaced SWFObject with the Adobe AC_RunActiveContent.js for just the problem SWF and the problem subsided.

Thanks for all your help.
