Domain Upgrade - will it affect Exchange Server 5.5 on PDC

Hi,

I'm planning on upgrading my current NT domain to W2K3 AD. Will this have any adverse effects on Exchange server 5.5 running on the PDC in the current NT domain ? A new server will take over the DC role in the new domain. The site is using a hosted mail service & expect the 'old' mail server (Exchange 5.5) to be in use for at least another 6 months.

Thanks for your response. I'm only upgrading the NT domain to W2K3 AD. There will be no Exchange migration. I want to leave Exchange 5.5 as it is for around 6 months as there are a couple of mailboxes which are forwarding mail to an external server. I just want to clarify if there will be issues with Exchange 5.5 if the NT domain is upgraded.

The Active Directory Connector should be able to handle that.
