Install JRE for Firefox on Linux 64 bit

I am unable to install the jre for firefox on Suse 10.1 64 bit.

I downloaded the 64 bit rpm and installed it. Then according to instructions here:
I should have a directory something like:
but I don't. I have to jre in /usr/java, but neither has a plugin directory, only things like lib and bin.

If I try to install the rpm again, it says that it is already installed.

What can I do?

inside the jre1.5.0_06  folder you will be having the plugin folder, which can be used for the firefox linking in the ~/.mozilla/plugins

The best way to install is to get the 64 bit BIN file off of, change the write permissions on it to an executable, either using Nautilus or running a chmod command:
"chmod a+x jre-1_5_0_02-linux-amd64.bin"
Once you've done this, open a Terminal Session, log in as su, then run the bin file.  After accepting the license agreement it installs.  Done.
Forced accept.
