Install JRE for Firefox on Linux 64 bit

I am unable to install the jre for firefox on Suse 10.1 64 bit.

I downloaded the 64 bit rpm and installed it. Then according to instructions here:
I should have a directory something like:
but I don't. I have to jre in /usr/java, but neither has a plugin directory, only things like lib and bin.

If I try to install the rpm again, it says that it is already installed.

What can I do?

use U with rpm

rpm -Uhv xxx.rpm

do you have J2RE 1.5 installed?

goto java.sun.com and install java from there

if I enter the rpm command you suggested, it says that the rpm is already installed.

Have you tried to install the 32bit version of JAVA?
[Webinar] Kill tickets & tabs using PowerShell

Are you tired of cycling through the same browser tabs everyday to close the same repetitive tickets? In this webinar JumpCloud will show how you can leverage RESTful APIs to build your own PowerShell modules to kill tickets & tabs using the PowerShell command Invoke-RestMethod.

inside the jre1.5.0_06  folder you will be having the plugin folder, which can be used for the firefox linking in the ~/.mozilla/plugins

The best way to install is to get the 64 bit BIN file off of Java.com, change the write permissions on it to an executable, either using Nautilus or running a chmod command:
"chmod a+x jre-1_5_0_02-linux-amd64.bin"
Once you've done this, open a Terminal Session, log in as su, then run the bin file.  After accepting the license agreement it installs.  Done.
Forced accept.
